Functionalism, Conflict, and interaction Theories are the three main sociological theories. Each opening shows a different type of assumptions and defines a certain modality of understanding a fond institution, or action. In this essay, I would like to look at the family as a kindly institution from all three unique perspectives. A social institution is an organized pattern of beliefs and behaviors centered on canonic social needs. The family is one of the most important social institutions. I believe that the social institution of family is what makes us who we are. What are the sociological theories? Functionalism, the Conflict Theory, and Interactionism comprise the three main sociological theories. These theories reach the way people think and perceive the world more or less them. The first theory is functionalism theory. Functionalism is one of the oldest theories, and is still used today.
In functionalism society is made up of different break ins, and these parts depart together to keep the family stable. A family in a solid is stable because each family member has a role that they moldiness fulfill. They are dependent on each other to financial aid fulfill their role. If one family member was to leave then on that point would be dysfunction until the family finds someone to fill that empty role. In my family we all have a role or part to play. We depend on each other to get our joke done. If one doesnt do their part, then everyone falls behind. Conflict is a sociological approach that assumes that social behavior is best tacit in terms of tension between groups over actor or the allocation of resources,...
