In the novel , Eliezer is a brave soul who tracks the hardships while he is in the concentration camp.
First of all, Eliezer is brave because he does not give up even though he suffers years of torment in the concentration camp. later experiencing all the beatings, lack of food, and unfair treatments, Eliezer still stays strong. He ever has the thought of giving up himself, but whenever he thinks of this father, he will change his mind and stay stronger to chasten the hardships. In the concentration camp, he is aparted from his mother and sisters, even so, he does not give up and survives till the end. One day, Eliezer is cause by Idek for twenty-five times on his back. He is about to faint. Even then, he still gets up and returns to the barracks.



When Eliezer is marching, his wound is opened, bleeding, and it feels call for burning, but he does not stop running because he will be shot if he stops. Still ace hours marching more, Eliezer and his father succeed in going inside the factory. Eliezer sinks down in the snow payable to tiredness and hungriness.
