number one Im going to talk around the Jesuit order, also known as the Company or Society of Jesus, was founded by Ignatius of Loyola (1491-1556) Author of the influential Spiritual exercises and base author of the societies constitutions (Pg. 458). The society was formally approved by the pontiff in 1540, and it then quickly became an agent of the Counter-Reformation to combat Protestantism. The Ratio( 1773 refunded 1814) was the Societies, bible in a way; it was a set of instructions, administration, school calendars, classes, libraries, and examinations for the society. It wasnt prospicient but it showed structure and spirit.

Rules for the teachers of hot air and humanities were to grade, and instruct perfect eloquence, oratory, and poetry. Their schedule followed as: First hour in the cockcrow, memory willing be exercised and corrected. The split second hour rested of devotion to perfection of either of precepts. The graduation hour of the afternoon was new perfection of an oration if the morning precepts have been explained.



For a each week lesson, historians or erudition gets explained. Saturdays were the weekly reviews. Memory exercises were needed for rhetorics, when in this class, students must execute and platforms using gesture and words to exercise the memory.
