The narrator of Greasy Lake is a nineteen year old boy who likes to believe that he and his friends are bad. He intricately describes what he does and explains why he is bad. In his perception, being bad is something to be recognise and be proud of. We read Andre Gide and struck elaborate poses to carry that we didnt give about anything says the narrator.
