Shrek
The film Shrek was directed in 2001. Since then there has been ii more movies. The director Andrew Adamson based the films on the book compose by William Steig. Adamson does a fantastic job portraying the fairy story scene. In this discussion we will show how Adamson uses some horrific language and characters to reverse this nice fairytale into something much antithetic from that.
In the beginning of the film the main character Shrek permits his make for and flood out taken away from him. The only way to get this land back is to follow what Lord Farquaad (the ignorant king) tells him to do. His assess is to go furl the princess Fiona and bring her bad to him so they nooky marry. Shrek agrees to this and teams up with Donkey a quick-witted, psychotic talking mule. They take chances umteen problems on the way to reach her. They finally collect the princess and take her back to Farquaad to wed the king. But there is a problem. Shrek falls in love with Fiona and storms finished with(predicate) the wedding and ends up marrying her instead. This sounds like a normal fairytale; Charming sawhorse saves princess from tower and gets married. This however could be nothing more opposite from a fairytale.
One of the first signs that Shrek is not a standard fairytale is Donkey. Donkey is just pure anti fairytale. He just does not fit into it in so many ways.
He is a modern talking, slack jawed ass. One of the many reasons why Donkey does not fit into a fairytale is near the very start of the film. Donkey and Shrek and walking through the forest and they come across Shreks swamp. He starts criticizing the swamp until Shrek tells him its his. He then goes onto say:

In a fairytale it is very bizarre and bizarre to find a character in a fairytale to be talking about houses and furbishing. This is the first reference between Shrek and average fairytales.
