Space Travel is Not Worth it
Giving NASA 15.5 billion dollars is ridiculous. All that silver could go to finding cures for diseases, and feeding and providing clothes and shelter for the homeless. The specie could go to health care and schools. Money would find a much better use here on primer rather than sending a few guys into space. sort of of exploring damage we should first explore Earth and try to fix around of the problems here. If that 15 billion dollars was split three ways with 5 billion going to AIDS research, 5 to education, and 5 to progress poor people affordable healthcare, I calculate that the money would be much better used, and it would probably end up returning to NASA
AIDS is a big problem that needs to be solved and I think that with the proper documentation it could be cured. Most diseases could be cured if we had much resources and spent to a bulkyer extent time and money. If 5 billion dollars was given to AIDS research, whence it would double the amount of money the U.S. gives to AIDS research and go out the process of finding a cure to move on much faster. An estimated 40 million people are keep with AIDS worldwide and an estimated 5 million are infect every year. And about 3 million people founder every year from AIDS. If those people who died were cured of AIDS than they superpower of worked for NASA.
The majority of people do not think that the political science spends enough money on education. If we took the 5 billion and gave it to schools, we students would drive a much better education. A portion the surface educated children would become Scientists for NASA and other space agencies. U.S. citizens pay more for health care than...
I just felt it necessary to mind out that this users essay should not be read only when but with the users other essay which compliments it with the contrary opinion, providing a more balanced ar guments.
Furthermore, although I agree with some of the authors comments, and though it may be an opinion based essay I feel m either of his arguments to be biased and unresearched.
I differ to what you have said. Yes, it is clear that your opinions are biased and unreasearched for you give littler evidence that support your facts.
Also, NASAs space program is THE MOST satisfying ACHIEVEMENT OF MANKIND and is MANKINDS FUTURE and will CHANGE storey FOREVER. Through the NASA program, medicines that are only able to be produced in zero gravity can be created. The NASA program is likewise economic aiding in the fight against cancer, which is just as important. Instead of getting rid of this program why not think about using the money that is going to the US army, which funding reaches into the 100 billions?
You said that with the proper funding,a cure for the AIDS computer virus could be found. Im not so sure this is the case. Unlike other viruses HIV has the ability to rapidly evolve to anything. Thus any medicine we come out with, the virus can scarce evolve an immunity. Right now all we can do is contain the virus. I dont think there are any ways we can completely eliminate it.
Also, you really didnt effectively show how those three things could benefit NASA. Yes, each of those are great things that should be done, but I dont think they would really help out NASA.
Bush needs to shove his space travel so far up his ass... Education should be the prime object glass of government funding. Not space colonies.
