AngloSaxon deitys Anglo- Saxon gods The Anglo-Saxon period was very interesting. Especially the antediluvial poems and mythology. While looking around, the perfections captured my attention. Thunor was the son of Woden. He is considered a God of simple unspiritual strength. He worshipped groves and meadows. Thunor did something strange. He carried a short-handled hammer, which he could use as a held or throwing weapon. To praise him, the corking unwashed wore hammer amulets around their necks.
