motivational factors argon genius of the most important aras of the corporate world and yet motivational factors can be one of the most over looked. fit in to (Moses, 2000), For managers and organizations, understanding the visibility of staff members can help in designing effective rewards and systems to attract and retain the best talent. Corporations that do not understand the motivational factors that drive employees will excite a harder time at retaining employees and ultimately meeting turn a profit projections. According to author Barbara Moses, I have grouped what motivates the refreshful worker into six idealized profiles. While each profile has its own defining characteristics, individuals may sh ar characteristics from more than one.
Motivational Types
Author Barbara Moses six idealized profiles for employees, ( case-by-case thinkers, lifestylers, personal developers, careerists, authenticity seekers, and collegiality seekers), are based mainly on intrinsic motivations.
Intrinsic motivators, harmonize to (Ryan & Deci, 2000), are defined as, the inherent propensity to lock up ones interests and to exercise ones capacities and, in doing so, to seek out and master optimal challenges. The six profiles are based upon the different intrinsic motivators of the employees, for example the independent problem solver is according to (Moses, 2000),
Independent problem-solvers want to own or build their own work, whether working inside an organization on a project or in their own independent business. They are impatient with corporate norms and procedures and have little allegiance to the corporation.
