I interviewed someone I have known for years. Her name is Tawana Young. She is my god sister. Her stepmother was my godmother. She is an identical twin. I admired her when I was younger and I admire her now. I would have never thought she would be a probation policeman but she is. She has valued to be a probation military officer since she was 12. When this denomination was assigned I immediately sent her a Facebook message. She replied in a timely manner and cont inciteed me to ask when and how I cute to conduct this interview. Because of our schedules we did a phone interview. Im pleased I chose her. She made it very easy to ask her the questions. And she did non give me short answers to where I wouldnt be fitting to do my paper. She spurts for the State of Florida. She is not the type of probation officer I want to be but the information that was stipulation will be very helpful anyhow.
My interest is juveniles. constituent people has always been my passion but now I have narrowed it down to children. The pay has kind of counterchanged my headspring altogether .
But our youth need to be showed that they atomic number 18 worthy more than dependable acting out and I by in all odds want to be a part of that. My opinion is children that act out are looking for attention and by all means necessary they will get it. Adults do it just because they havent grown up yet. Anyone being a probation officer must be able to determine what restrictions are for what crime, and be firm. Probation officers are to scare the offenders straight. Sometimes the program work and sometimes it does not. The offender has to want to change in allege for it to work. The bad thing about being an offender is if they wanted to change and re-enter the society its real austere to do so. It is not enough programs to keep the offender from doing the analogous thing again or worse.
