Resis of Wire

AIM

Aim is to guinea pig what promoters effect the resistivity of wires. The twain factors that we argon studying are diameter and length. We chose diameter and studied.
I distinguish open to choose diameter because it has a more complex blood to resistance than any other factor. I also did non use length because the result would be inaccurate, as we would view as had to use the same wire many times. I could not watch mea reliabled temperature as the controlled environment needed to get under ones skin accurate and reliable results would be an oil bath. The oil would have to be heated creating a potenti solelyy dangerous try with a high level of risk. I did not study the type of wire as this would be a fellowship variable, allowing me to only draw a bar chart fashioning me unable to see a clear correlation and consequently making any conclusions I would draw from this data rubbish.

Resistance is how easy/difficult for up-to-date to flow in a circuit, all components have a resistance. You can calculate it using ohms law.

We only had copper, constantan and nichrome in school these will limit our results. We used constantan as Copper has a very low resistance call backing the results would be irregular. Nichrome has a very high resistance, this would mean the wire would get hot and we would have been using two factors.



How I Made My Test Fair?

To make my quiz fair I made sure I was able to control all of the factors of the experiment. I controlled the length in my experiment by making sure I measured all of my wires to 45cm so the variable of length was controlled.
