Today in music, motherliness is a subject that is untold conversed well-nigh freely. In comparison to the 60s and 70s, it was pretty much taboo. (Baby Mama, 2004) This song is a perfect example about how society portrays woman to be thought of as the victim. The human beings in what is happening is the artist does not just unwrap something to speak about and make up a scenario to sing about. These are real life instances that are expressed in the music today. Today, the get of single mothers out there without the support or help from anyone is such a large amount. The amount of men who are being entrapped by woman with the allay of pregnancy is such a large amount as well.



For example; The Maury Povich shows constantly airs shows with the subject line Is he the father of my kids? (Maury Povich, 2008). These shows most of the time portray men as being the victim, and as the entrapped one. The reality of what is going on in the world today, Is what artists are singing about in their songs. Depending on how one looks at pregnancy, the subject is not always separate as an entrapment.
In the 60s and in the 70s, pregnancy was not so well accepted.
